I was left with nowhere to go - Magnussen

Getty Images Enlarge Kevin Magnussen said he did his best to avoid the first corner accident with Felipe Massa at the first corner of the German Grand Prix but was left with nowhere to go. Magnussen was on the inside of Massa at Turn 1 before they made contact, flipping the Williams into a roll and out of the race. Massa blamed Magnussen for the collision but the McLaren driver said he was left with nowhere to go. "A real pity: I think I could've had a decent race if I hadn't had the accident at Turn 1," he said.
