Five-place grid penalty for Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton will start the German Grand Prix from no higher than 20th on the grid following a five-place penalty for changing his gearbox. The part was damaged in the Mercedes driver's crash in qualifying, which was caused by a brake failure. It remains likely that Hamilton will have to start from the pit lane.
