Hamilton hit by grid penalty

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton will start the German Grand Prix from 20th on the grid due to a gearbox penalty. The Brit originally qualified in 15th position after suffering a right front brake disc failure during Q1 at Hockenheim. Mercedes confirmed on Sunday morning that Hamilton's W05 Hybrid requires a gearbox change and as a result he will drop five places.
