Perez pleased with his ‘great effort’

style="margin: 0px; font-family: Times;">   HOCKENHEIM, 19th July 2014 (F1Plus / Graham Keilloh) - Sergio Perez made it through to today  the final session of qualifying and will start in tenth place for tomorrow’s German Grand Prix despite a gearbox and hydraulic problem limiting him to single flying lap in Q2.    Perez afterwards admitted that he was as surprised as anyone to make it through to the final top ten shootout.   “In Q1 we were not so good, and I had an issue with the gearbox in Q2 with my first set of tyres so we didn’t get to run that set, so that really put us far behind," said Perez.   “We only got one shot at it to...
