Magnussen pleased but says podium out of reach

McLaren's Kevin Magnussen doesn't believe a podium is possible from fourth on the grid, despite the upgraded MP4-29 delivering additional performance on Saturday. The team introduced upgrades earlier than it had previously planned, including a radical new rear-wing on Friday, which helped the Dane to qualify fourth behind the sole Mercedes of Nico Rosberg and the Williams duo. He believes the car over-delivered with fourth and he's not sure what will happen on Sunday. "I don't think we came into this weekend thinking that P4 was our position, but there you go" he said.
