Hockenheim Practice 3: Hamilton chases Rosberg
Nico Rosberg fastest in FP3 at Hockenheim
Nico Rosberg claimed top spot on the timing screens at the end of the third and final free practice of the German Grand Prix weekend, ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton as Mercedes were again the class act around Hockenheim.
Rosberg's best time came on his final run using the red band super soft Pirelli offerings, while teammate Hamilton reported a vibration during his hot lap run. As a result Rosberg was a whopping 0.601 of a second up on the sister car.
Despite this, the scene is set for a mega-tussle for top spot on the grid in qualifying between the two Silver Arrows drivers – they have each started four times from pole this...
