Button fears for McLaren in Germany
Jenson Button fears McLaren will struggle in the German Grand Prix despite strong one-lap pace during Friday practice. Button was seventh quickest during FP2 with team-mate Kevin Magnussen ahead of him in fifth place as McLaren showed encouraging pace on the supersoft tyre. However, Button was more concerned about the performance of the car on high fuel and believes the weekend is likely to be a tough one for the team. “It's tricky so we've just got to make the best out of what we've got,” Button said. “Our long runs are not looking that special here. There are a lot of cars that are quicker than us, very different to Silverstone so I don't know why that is. I think we're overheating...
