Rossi leaves Caterham F1, GP2 teams

– Alexander Rossi has parted ways with the Caterham Formula 1 and GP2 teams with immediate effect.The American, 22, joined Caterham in 2011, racing for the team in Formula Renault 3.5 and the GP2 Series. He stepped up to a Formula 1 reserve role for 2013, and has since taken part in practice sessions and tests.Rossi's departure comes shortly after founder Tony Fernandes' decision to sell the Leafield-based outfit to a consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors, overseen by ex-Formula 1 Team Principal Colin Kolles.Rossi had been contesting GP2 alongside his 2014 Formula 1 duties, but he is to vacate both positions."I'm very thankful to everyone at Caterham throughout the...
