Sainz Jr confirms Caterham talks
 Carlos Sainz Jr has confirmed that Red Bull have spoken with Caterham about securing him a race-seat this season.
Although Caterham have Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson as their two drivers, reports earlier this week claimed that Sainz could replace one of the drivers before the season is over.
The rumours were strengthened by the link-up between Red Bull and Caterham with the reigning Champs supplying the backmarker outfit with gearboxes.
And although there has been no official word from either team, 19-year-old Sainz Jr, who is currently contesting the Renault 3.5 series, has confirmed that talks are taking place.
