Rosberg pleased with Silverstone test showing
Nico Rosberg enjoyed a good day at Silverstone following his race day disappointment, posting the third quickest time on day one of the in-season test at Silverstone.
The German was cruelly ousted from the lead in Sunday’s British Grand Prix following gearbox issues on his W05 Hybrid, with teammate and title rival Lewis Hamilton romping to a home victory in front of a partisan crowd at Silverstone. On Tuesday though, the German managed an impressive 90 laps around Silverstone with a best time of 1:35:573.
Despite finishing three-tenths shy of pacesetter Felipe Massa, Rosberg declared himself happy with his days work.
