Hamilton felt he had pace to catch Rosberg

– Lewis Hamilton is confident that he would have been able to beat Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg during the British Grand Prix even if the German had not been struck by technical problems.Rosberg was forced into retirement when his gearbox gave up shortly after the halfway mark of Sunday afternoon's race, handing the lead and an ultimately comfortable victory to Hamilton.But Hamilton, who had switched to Hard compound tyres at the opening round of pit-stops, reckons he had the pace to put up a fight."I had the pace today and was catching Nico.
