Nasr wins British Sprint Race

Felipe Nasr kept himself in championship contention with a dominant lights-to-flag victory in the GP2 Sprint Race at Silverstone. The Brazilian started from the inside of the frontrow and immediately got past pole-sitter Stephane Richelmi on the run to Abbey, never to be seen again by the chasing pack.However, despite the victory, Nasr only took seven points out of Palmer's lead at the top of the Drivers' Championship after the DAMS driver impressed once again in front of his home fans to work his way up to fourth and minimise the damage the reverse grid race could have caused to his advantage.
