McLaren rubbishes Button claim

A McLaren spokesman has dismissed a claim in the Spanish media that Jenson Button has been told his contract will not be renewed at season end.Spanish tabloid Marca alleges that 'Dennis has told Button that his contract will not be renewed, and that he [Jenson] should now begin to look for an alternative drive'.Contacted by Pitpass a team spokesman at Woking dismissed the story as 'complete and utter rubbish.'The story comes at the end of an interesting week for Button and McLaren.
