Rosberg grab pole in thrilling Silverstone qualifyingPosted On 05 Jul 2014By : thisisf1Comment: 0 Nico Rosberg took pole position in thrilling Silverstone qualifying for 2014 British Grand Prix; and nearest title rival Lewis Hamilton push down to sixth after dramatic self-decision.
Rosberg's best lap-time was 1.6s faster than second position speedy Sebastian Vettel. Local star Jenson Button was third fastest ahead of the Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg.
Button said after exciting segment 'like you could not believe. It's only third but for us after the last 18 months we had no chance of getting this result. It's nice to qualify so well in front of the home crowd.'
