British GP Qualifying: Rosberg snatches pole as Hamilton falters
Nico Rosberg on his way to pole at Silverstone
Wet weather, which is now a tradition at Silverstone, set the stage for a dramatic British Grand Prix qualifying with Nico Rosberg claiming his fourth pole position of the season while his Mercedes teammate – and main title challenger – faltered on a confusing final run and will see him start from sixth on the grid.
Capitalising on the tricky conditions were Sebastian Vettel who was second in the Red Bull and Jenson Button, reveling in the conditions, claiming third spot on the grid, with the other big news being that neither of the Williams and Ferrari drivers made it beyond Q1 as they got their sums wrong when it mattered....
