Vettel tops wet FP3 at Silverstone

CLICK HERE for full FP3 times. Sebastian Vettel was fastest during a wet final practice session for the British Grand Prix as neither Mercedes driver set a time. Both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg remained in the pits for the majority of the session - completing just nine laps between them - as Mercedes opted to save tyres with qualifying likely to take place in wet conditions. Vettel set a best time of 1:52.522 to edge out team-mate Daniel Ricciardo by just over 0.1s. Renault-powered cars filled the first four places with Pastor Maldonado third ahead of his Lotus team-mate Romain Grosjean.
