Productive Friday for Mercedes despite Hamilton Engine Issue

The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS team ended both free practice sessions on Friday fastest at Silverstone ahead of this weekend’s British Grand Prix, but an engine failure for Lewis Hamilton dampened their mood somewhat. Nico Rosberg was fastest in the opening session ahead of Hamilton, with the positions reversed for the second session. Hamilton’s pace in the second practice session before his mechanical issue was impressive.
