Fast start for ‘best of the rest’ Alonso

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso says his Friday running went to plan as he headed up the 'best of the rest' in free practice for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The Spaniard was third quickest behind the dominant Mercedes duo of Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton in both FP1 and FP2 as he focused on establishing a base set-up for the race weekend.
