Hamilton sets pace but stops on track

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton set the pace for Mercedes during the second practice session ahead of this weekend's British Grand Prix but he was forced to stop trackside after reporting a problem with his W05 Hybrid. The Brit's time of 1:34.508 was over two-tenths of a second faster than Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg. But Hamilton stopped on the exit of The Loop with half an hour remaining, complaining of engine problems. Behind the Mercedes duo, Fernando Alonso was third quickest, almost three-quarters of a second behind Hamilton. Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel completed the top five for Red Bull.
