Caterham confirms sale to consortium

Sutton Images Enlarge Caterham will continue to compete in Formula One in its current guise for the "foreseeable future" after confirming its sale by Tony Fernandes. A consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors, advised by former HRT team principal Colin Kolles, has purchased the team, with ex-F1 driver Christijan Albers heading up the day-to-day running of the team. Albers replaces Cyril Abiteboul, who will "leave the team to pursue new challenges". More to follow N S
