McLaren underrated Perez's talent - Force India

McLaren made the wrong decision to replace Sergio Perez last season, according to Force India's deputy team principal Bob Fernley. The Mexican was ousted after just one season, but Fernley believes Perez needed at least another year with the team to show them his true talent after a difficult start to the 2013 season. However his latter performances were much closer to then team-mate Jenson Button and that's what convinced Force India he was right for them.
