Ecclestone suggests Monza axe after 2016

– Bernie Ecclestone has suggested that Monza could fall from the calendar after the 2016 campaign.The Italian Grand Prix has been staged at the circuit every season – aside from when the race went to Imola in 1980 – since the World Championship began.But Ecclestone says a renewal is unlikely when the current contract expires."I don't think we'll do another contract, the old one was a disaster for us from a commercial point of view.
