Kate Walker: An unhealthy lack of debate

On Thursday, the World Motor Sport Council met in Munich and ratified all of those 2015 regulation changes that were covered last weekend in Austria: the preservation of tyre blankets; standing Safety Car restarts; and a few minor cost savings related to wind tunnel, testing, and computational analysis. The regulatory changes were passed with little in the way of debate or discussion, according to those present, with the WMSC effectively signing off on all of the proposals that had been agreed upon in the F1 Commission meeting that took place in London prior to the Austrian Grand Prix.
