Hamilton admits race was damage limitation

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton has admitted that his Austrian Grand Prix was just a case of damage limitation after spinning off in qualifying. Hamilton finished the race just a couple of seconds behind Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, having started the race from ninth on the grid. The Brit hailed his 'best ever' start in Formula 1 as he moved up to fourth, before picking off Williams duo Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas later on in the race.
