Perez believes podium was possible

Sahara Force India Force India driver Sergio Perez believes that a podium position would have been possible at the Austrian Grand Prix had he not sustained a grid penalty. Perez qualified in 11th position but dropped to 16th as a result of his sanction for causing a collision with Felipe Massa in Canada. Perez executed a two stop strategy by prolonging his first stint to lead the race, before eventually coming home in sixth place, setting the fastest lap during his final stint. "Once again really we had the pace for the podium, very unfortunate with the penalty," Perez said. "To come back from 16th to sixth it shows how strong we were, the pace was good in certain parts....
