Toro Rosso handed suspended fine after tyre blunder

The stewards in Austria have handed Toro Rosso a suspended fine after the Italian team used a set of specially allocated practice tyres outside of the mandated time window. Since the start of 2014, Pirelli has supplied each team with a set of extra prime tyres to be specifically used within the first 30 minutes of opening practice. The idea was proposed last year to encourage teams to run in the usually quiet opening 30 minute phase of free practice one on a Friday morning. The one stipulation of the extra set of tyres is that they may only be used within that 30 minute period, and then returned.
