Marko: Ferrari made absurd Newey offer
– Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko claims Ferrari made "an absurd offer" for design guru Adrian Newey.Ferrari had denied pursuing the services of Newey, who recently signed a modified Red Bull deal that will see him step away from the Formula 1 team and take on side projects, when quizzed over the matter in recent weeks.But Marko says there was a firm offer on the table from the Italian marque when Newey's future was undecided."We had a long talk with Adrian," Marko told Red Bull-owned Servus TV ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix."Ferrari made him an absurd offer, not only on the financial side but also on what his responsibilities would be."Marko added that...
