Red Bull considered signing Hamilton for 2013

Red Bull's Helmut Marko has revealed that the team seriously considered replacing Mark Webber with Lewis Hamilton ahead of the 2013 season. Webber was contemplating whether to retire or not and Red Bull were lining up options should he decide to, with Hamilton a leading candidate. The Australian however chose to continue for another season and Marko decided it best to stick with the proven duo of Webber and Sebastian Vettel as he believed pairing Hamilton with Vettel would lead to fireworks.
