Chilton handed three-place grid penalty for Austria

Max Chilton has been handed a three-place grid penalty for the next race in Austria after colliding with his team-mate on the opening lap of the Canadian Grand Prix. The Marussia team headed to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in a positive mood after scoring their first points at the last race in Monaco, thanks to Jules Bianchi's eighth place finish. However, the Banbury-based outfit's Canadian Grand Prix only lasted four corners after Chilton lost control of his car and hit Bianchi. The Frenchman's Ferrari-powered MR03 was pitched into the barrier and caused a seven-lap safety car period.
