Ricciardo wins barnstorming Canadian Grand Prix
dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.15;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;"> 8th June, 2014 (F1 Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Daniel Ricciardo won his first Formula One race after a barnstorming Canadian Grand Prix. The Canadian Grand Prix ended under the safety car after Felipe Massa and Sergio Perez made contact, resulting in both drivers crashing into the barriers at turn 1. We understand that both drivers are okay and paid a visit to the medical centre. A few laps before the end of the race Ricciardo moved up into third place and began to chase down Nico Rosberg and passed him down the back straight to take the chequered flag.
