Hamilton leads Rosberg in second practice

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton set the quickest time for Mercedes during Friday’s second practice session ahead of this weekend’s Canadian Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Hamilton ended the day with a time of 1:16.118 to ensure he eclipsed Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg by 0.175s. Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel had a quiet start to the session but set the third fastest time, albeit 0.455s down on Hamilton. Kimi Räikkönen set the fourth quickest time for Ferrari although he didn’t enjoy a trouble free session as he spun exiting the hairpin.
