Mercedes working hard to understand Bottas engine failure

Paddy Lowe says Mercedes have been working hard to 'understand' the power unit issues that put Valtteri Bottas out of the Monaco Grand Prix. Bottas was running eighth in his Mercedes-powered Williams when he was forced to retire on lap 50, but Lowe maintains they are 'confident' now there won't be any similar problems at Canada's Circuit Gilles Villeneuve next weekend for either Bottas or any of the other Merc powered cars, including those of factory drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. “Canada is another unusual circuit but in the opposite vein to Monte Carlo.
