Boullier praises Magnussen’s Monaco form

Eric Boullier was impressed by Kevin Magnussen's approach to his first Monaco Grand Prix in F1. Magnussen's rookie year has been largely difficult since he scored a podium on his debut in Australia, with the McLaren slipping off the pace in recent races before a double-points finish in Monaco. Magnussen was running sixth before a reliability issue saw him lose pace and then Kimi Raikkonen collided with him at the hairpin, relegating him to tenth, but Boullier singled him out for praise. “Both [Jenson Button and Magnussen] did drive well, especially Kevin who is a rookie,” Boullier said, adding that he was impressed with how Magnussen had handled his weekend. “This is a special track...
