Fernandes puts Caterham up for sale

Sutton Images Enlarge Tony Fernandes is looking to sell Caterham for around £350 million, according to reports in the media, but it is not thought he will be able to realise anything like that sum. Fernandez's diminishing interest in the sport has been known for some time and so the news does not come as a surprise. His attention is far more centred on QPR who gained promotion to the Premier League at the weekend. The Bloomberg agency reported on Sunday that a memorandum on the sale was being circulated in the Middle East. But with little to celebrate on the track, it appears Fernandes' patience has run out.
