Rosberg qualifying accusations are 'bulls**t' – Wolff

Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff has branded accusations that Nico Rosberg deliberately attempted to cause a yellow flag incident to protect his provisional pole as “bulls**t”. Rosberg and his Mercedes team have been called before the FIA stewards to explain the incident, which occurred in the dying moments of qualifying as the German and his team-mate Lewis Hamilton battled for pole. Doubts have been raised over Rosberg’s intention, having locked his brakes and ran up the slip road at Mirabeau, which prompted the yellow flags, spoiling Hamilton’s lap, and any chance for the 2008 champion to overturn his team-mates advantage.
