Rosberg under investigation

Nico Rosberg has been placed under official investigation by the Monaco stewards amid accusations that he deliberately crashed at the end of qualifying in order to secure pole position from Lewis Hamilton.Fractionally faster than his Mercedes team-mate after their first runs in Q3, Rosberg brought out the yellow flag in the final minute of the top-ten shoot-out when he missed his braking point into Mirabeau and slithered down the escape road. Hamilton, on a faster final run, then had to abort his lap, leaving Rosberg on pole. More to follow...
