Prac Three: Hamilton's back on top

Despite Red Bull getting involved, the battle in Saturday's final practice for the Monaco GP was always going to be between the two Mercedes drivers. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg traded blows in Saturday's final practice as the sun shone down on the Monte Carlo street circuit. Rosberg held the advantage on the soft tyres but the swap to the supersofts saw Hamilton emerge as the driver to beat. He clocked a 1:16.758 to take the P1 slot despite failing at any given time to string together a set of fastest sector times. The Brit, who arrived in Monaco chasing his fifth win in succession, edged Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo by 0.050s while Rosberg was a further 0.066 down. Ricciardo had...
