Renault hopeful of 10hp increase

Red Bull/Getty Images Renault believe that the work they have been doing with fuel partner Total should result in their teams receiving an additional 10 horsepower during this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. Renault endured a difficult pre-season but has since bounced back with two podiums courtesy of Red Bull, which were achieved in Malaysia and Spain. "Monaco is one of the few circuits on the calendar where top end power is not critical," said head of trackside operations Remi Taffin.
