Ericsson set to remember Peterson in Monaco

Marcus Ericsson says he will be paying tribute to Ronnie Peterson during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. Peterson won in Monaco 40 years ago but tragically died four years later following a crash at Monza. Having joined Caterham over the winter, Ericsson is only the third Swede to race in F1 since Peterson, and he revealed that he has a number of events planned to remember Peterson this weekend in Monte Carlo. “It's also going to be a very special race for all Swedish fans as it's 40 years since Ronnie Peterson won in Monaco in 1974,” Ericsson said. “It's a huge honour for me to be another Swedish F1 driver following in his footsteps, especially as he and I come from the same part of...
