Mercedes trials 'megaphone' exhaust

– Mercedes has given a 'megaphone' exhaust its first on track running at the post-Spanish Grand Prix test as Formula 1 explores what can be done to raise the sound levels of the new turbocharged engines. With the V6 power units noticeably quieter than their V8 predecessors, race promoters have expressed concerns about the direction the sport is heading in, prompting a meeting with Bernie Ecclestone over the weekend.
