Kobayashi attributes crash to settings change

Kamui Kobayashi put his crash in testing in Spain down to different car settings which affected the balance of his Caterham. With just 20 minutes of the session to run, Kobayashi went off at Turn 3 and hit the wall, damaging the right-hand side of his car. Having been to the medical centre for precautionary check-ups, Kobayashi explained that he had just made some adjustments in the cockpit which he felt contributed to the crash. “I went off with oversteer,” Kobayashi said. “I think we changed some settings but I think straight away we had a completely different balance and at Turn 3 I hit the wall.
