Hamilton: I struggled to keep Rosberg behind

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton has admitted that Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg was faster across the Spanish Grand Prix, despite the Brit claiming his fourth successive victory. Hamilton started the race from pole position and adopted an option-option-prime tyre strategy, compared to Rosberg's option-prime-option approach. Hamilton emerged from his final stop six seconds clear but his lead was cut drastically as he eventually came across the line just 0.6s ahead of Rosberg.
