FP2: Hamilton dominates practice two for Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton stayed ahead for Mercedes come second practice as he dispatched team-mate Nico Rosberg by just under half a second to remain quickest. Rosberg managed to recover from his FP1 troubles to go second, a further half second ahead of the Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo. The top three were well ahead of those behind as Fernando Alonso's 1:27.121 was over 1.5 seconds down on Hamilton's leading lap to suggest Mercedes have extended their already mammoth advantage. Pastor Maldonado completed the most laps for Lotus at 42 and posted the ninth quickest lap to show some good form for the struggling outfit.
