Lotus expecting major improvement

Lotus will bring its first major upgrade of the season to this week's Spanish Grand Prix, Technical Director Nick Chester confirmed. Many teams are expecting to bring upgrades to the Circuit de Catalunya this week, but Chester hopes that the Enstone team will finally get the opportunity to illustrate the capabilities of their E22 in Barcelona. "We had a huge amount to get through [in China] because we hadn't run much in the Bahrain test," he explained when asked about their expectations for this week by crash.net.
