Force India announces sponsorship deal with Smirnoff
Force India has announced a new sponsorship deal with leading vodka brand Smirnoff.
The Silverstone-based outfit is currently third in the constructors' standings after a strong start to the 2014 season. The VJM07 will feature Smirnoff logos on the rear wing and chassis from the Spanish Grand Prix onwards, with branding on the sidepods at 'key' races.
Drivers' helmets, race suits and team clothing will feature the brand's famous eyebrow logo. Force India said in the statement that the partnership 'brings together two brands with a shared ethos to open up access to one of the world’s most elite sports for everyone,' and added that responsible drinking will lie at the heart of it.
