Montezemolo: Senna wanted to end career at Ferrari

Williams F1 Team Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo believes that Ayrton Senna wanted to end his Formula 1 career with Ferrari. Thursday marks the 20th anniversary of Senna's death at the San Marino Grand Prix but Montezemolo revealed that he had held discussions with the Brazilian over a move to the team just days before Senna's fatal accident. "He wanted to come to Ferrari and I wanted him in the team," said Montezemolo. "When he was in Italy for the San Marino Grand Prix, we met at my home in Bologna on Wednesday 27 April.
