McLaren dismiss Button injury claims

McLaren have rejected reports that Jenson Button is struggling with a leg injury ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix. The McLaren driver, a passionate triathlon fan, was due to take part in an event in the Canary Islands over the weekend, but he pulled out at the last minute and the media later reported he had leg muscle problems. However, the Woking squad have been quick to play down the claims, adding that he is ready to step up his preparations for the race in Barcelona on May 11.
