McLaren denies Button leg injury claims
McLaren has denied reports that have appeared (guess where) claiming that Jenson Button has sustained a leg injury while competing in a triathlon.Contacted by Pitpass a McLaren spokesman said, 'Jenson decided not to complete the Canary Islands triathlon, but he is fit and well and has, contrary to a few rogue media reports, no injuries of any kind. Indeed, he is driving in our simulator today and is looking forward to participating in the forthcoming Spanish Grand Prix.'It had been claimed that the 2009 world champion completed the swimming and cycling stages of the event in Fuerteventura without any problem but withdrew from the half-marathon with suspected muscle problems.Chris Balfe
