McLaren duo downbeat about car performance

– McLaren duo Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen cut downbeat figures after a disappointing qualifying session for the team in the wet in China. Neither driver progressed through to the final segment of the session, with Button setting the 12th fastest time and Magnussen a few positions further back in 15th. "It's been a strange year in terms of the car in the wet, usually we're good but we're struggling for grip," said Button. "I can't get the fronts working in low speed corners, [it's] just shuddering so we can't get the temperature in them, traction's tricky as well so I hope it's dry tomorrow.
