Alonso hopeful of fighting Red Bulls

Scuderia Ferrari Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso says he hopes to be able to fight with the Red Bull drivers during Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix. Alonso set the fifth fastest time during wet conditions in qualifying but reckons he can challenge Red Bull duo Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel in the race. "I feel comfortable, obviously the car felt better than Bahrain and the steps we brought here confirmed the positive result," Alonso told Sky Sports. "We know its not enough but it’s a first step.
